Adorable little guy on the right is Oakley. He’s a juvenile Great Horned Own who was brought in to Eagle Valley Raptor Center
after a tornado hit his home in Kansas a few years ago. Since he was the only baby owl in the center at that time, his caretakers
gave him a buddy to make him feel safe. It may sound like a crazy solution but the most amazing thing about this is Oakley’s
reaction after his new friend started singing.
Oakley was released into the wild a few months after this video was filmed but his legacy remains because every Halloween it’s
shared hundreds of thousands of times.
