They thought it was fake… until they tracked down the man who shot it.
A truly gigantic Nile crocodile in Zimbabwe, Africa was killed by a man assisting Zimbabwe’s National Parks department to
help a small village that was losing it’s cattle to the prehistoric monster. Images of the massive croc immediately went viral with
claims that it may be the largest croc on record. As with any internet picture, critics were quick to claim it was fake. Internet
myth debunker Snopes conducted an investigation and concluded that the image was authentic. Bill, the host of this video,
wasn’t content with a simple Snopes article, so he did his own research. He found the first magazine to originally print the
image as well as the name of the man who shot the croc and the reporter who interviewed him. Watch Bills investigation and
