Performed by Mahomet-Seymour Dance Team, the dance itself is nothing short of spectacular, or as one of the spectators eloquently put it about halfway into this video – “Wow”, but what’s unusual about it is that the choreography was done not to music but to Spoken Word.
The lack of music not only draws you into the performance but the speech itself gave me chills. Listening to that speech while watching these girls perform can not be described with words; you just have to see it in the video below.
We rarely get blown away by a dance performance but this is something we just had to share.
