Five third graders step on stage and face away from audience…When they turn around? WONDERFUL

The Motown Revue is a yearly tradition at Baldwin Hills Elementary, where students from various grade levels come together to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, and acting. This year’s performance was particularly memorable, with the students putting on a show that was truly unforgettable.

A Memorable Performance by Baldwin Hills Elementary Students…

Malinda Williams, an elementary school teacher, doesn’t care much for the music that kids listen to these days so she exposed her 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students to Motown and other hits from the 60s and 70s.

This video shows Williams’ 3rd-grade students performing a hit classic from the era, “I want you back” by the Jackson 5 and it’s super cute. The performance was made even more impressive by the incredible talents of the five students who led the way: Jelani, Eugene, Ryan, Anthony, and Jalen.

These five students brought the song to life with impressive dance moves, vocal talents, and sheer enthusiasm. They worked tirelessly to perfect their performance, and it was clear to all who watched that their hard work had paid off.

Made me so happy watching this.. these kids are awesome!

The audience was left in awe of the student’s talent and dedication, and they quickly gave them a standing ovation at the end of their performance. It was a truly unforgettable moment and a testament to Baldwin Hills Elementary students’ incredible talent and potential.

That was a cool idea to bring these classic songs to life! An incredible Performance by Baldwin Hills Elementary Students

Congratulations to Jelani, Eugene, Ryan, Anthony, and Jalen for their incredible performance! They have truly set the bar high for future Baldwin Hills Elementary Motown Revues, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do next.
