Dogs are incredible creatures. They long to communicate with us, they respond to our commands, they react when they hear their name… things that all require being able to hear. So you can imagine how lonely this deaf Pit Bull must have felt not being able to do it.
When Rosie was brought into this shelter she was insecure, scared and alone, and because of her inability to hear, pretty much unadoptable.
However she longed for human contact and because of that and the efforts of her trainer, she was quickly able to pick up sign language. All that she needed then was the perfect owner to come and give her her forever home, and wouldn’t you know it, it didn’t take long for the right person to arrive.… Just watch the video
