Elizabeth Laird may never become a household name, no schools will be named after her, she probably won’t even get a penny for the work she does, but the one thing she will get is the gratitude of countless soldiers deployed to war from Fort Hood, TX and what she gives them is what they need the most, whether they’re leaving or returning home.
