“Celtic Thunder” is the only group who can sing “the sound of silence” this good.

Colm Keegan and Keith Harkin, the two members of the Celtic Thunder executed this magical version of Simon and Garfunkel’s famous song, “The Sound of Silence.”

Who doesn’t remember Garfunkel and Simon, they were the most known duos back in the 1960s and 1970s. Their work and sacrifice for music are still celebrated and cherished by all generations.

This affecting song was by far their most popular hit. It was revealing the problems of society back then.

We can see in this clip, a fresh new gifted duo performing a magnificent version of the beloved song. They surely have grasped the core and soul of the original.

The two young artists sound exactly like Simon and Garfunkel, if you close your eyes and listen you can’t feel the difference. They sound eerily similar.

This group is from Dublin, Ireland and it contains young Scottish and Irish artists. “Celtic Thunder” was founded as a celebration of the culture and Celtic origins of both countries.

I love the original version of this song by Simon and Garfunkel and don’t usually like covers, but this one is an exception! Well done lads!

Don’t forget to share this mesmerizing rendition with your friends and family…
