If you thought purring is cute, wait until you hear a grown leopard do it. It sounds like a low-frequency growl you hear just before you get mauled.
The story of how Voodoo the leopard came to reside in Cedar Cove Park is a unique one though.
It’s hard to believe, but he was bought by a rich couple who intend to make him a house pet and a play pal for their dogs. I guess hearing this ominous sound night after night was too much, so ever since then, Voodoo lives a lazy life in his new home where he gets daily massages he enjoys so much.
It goes without saying though – Don’t try this at home… or at the zoo.
This has got to be one of the most gorgeous animals I have ever seen. What a stunner!
