I admire this guy for his patience, after 7 months of not seeing his boy it must have been hard to not ruin the surprise. But the boy’s reaction couldn’t have been any better. I cried a little.
Matthew Peters knew his son wasn’t expecting him to return from Iraq yet, so he made a plan with the school principal to surprise him during lunch. The camera focused on the boy and he had no idea what was going on but when his dad hugged him, it was a moment of pure love.
