It took me a while to figure out what was going on on that stage, but it’s one of the most original and emotionally engaging acts I’ve ever seen in any of these competitions. The couple that goes by the name of Another Kind of Blue seemed at first like a regular dance couple, but then the room went dark and a strange video projection lighted the stage and that’s where things started to go crazy.
If you thought talent shows had nothing new to offer, you MUST see this! Watch the video down below…
Another Kind of Blue is a dance group that uses projection mapping to create stunning visual effects. It was founded in 2007 by choreographer David Middendorp. The group is made up of four dancers from Italy and The Netherlands. Their performances combine dance, animation, and projection mapping to create a unique and immersive experience. The group reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2016, and their performances have been praised by critics and audiences alike.
The group first appeared on BGT in the second week of auditions. They performed the song “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, and their performance was met with a standing ovation from the judges. Simon Cowell praised the group’s “beautiful” and “mesmerizing” performance, and Amanda Holden called them “the most original act we’ve seen this year.”
Another Kind of Blue is a truly unique and talented group, and they are sure to continue to amaze audiences for years to come. I can’t wait to see more of them.
